Steve Katz
Founder
Steve Katz is the founder of the Center for ABA, dedicated to supporting children with autism through compassionate and evidence-based care. Steve served as Director of IT at a community-based behavioral healthcare system, Achieve Behavioral Health, for the past seven years. His blend of technical expertise and a passion for helping others drives his commitment to making a meaningful impact in the behavioral health field.
Steve is currently a PsyD candidate pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at Immaculata University.
Susan Smith
BCBA, Clinician
Susan is a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Purple Crayon. Her passion for the field was sparked by her close relationship with a family friend's child, who has Autism. This personal connection has continued to inspire her work, and the two enjoy going on hiking adventures together. Susan has been a BCBA since 2017, following her previous role as a Behavior Technician. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education and completed her BCBA coursework at a local university. Susan is committed to making a difference through her work at Purple Crayon.
Benjamin Yao
Operations
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, has spent his career working with nonprofits dedicated to supporting youth from historically underserved communities. His experience helping these organizations serve those who need it most has shaped his compassionate approach. Now, as the founder of the Center for ABA, Benjamin is deeply committed to creating a nurturing, supportive environment where families can trust that their children will receive the personalized care they deserve to thrive.
